No—American Mahjong sets do not always include racks. A listing may contain tiles and a case, or it may be a larger bundle with four racks, pushers, a mat, dice, or other accessories. Product photographs can show styling props, so rely on the written contents rather than the image alone.
What racks and pushers do
A rack holds a player’s tiles upright so the hand stays organized and private. A pusher extends along the table to move a completed wall into position without reaching across other players’ spaces. Some products combine the rack and pusher; others sell them as separate pieces.

Mahjong tiles are not all the same size. A rack channel that works well for one tile may feel shallow, tight, or unstable with another. Compare the rack channel with the tile’s width, height, and thickness, and check whether the seller explicitly states compatibility.

What is included with current Moira sets?
