Why Moira Exists
We wanted a Mahjong set that felt refined without feeling predictable.
Too many sets ask players to choose between familiar styling and novelty for novelty's sake. We saw room for something more grounded: a modern, balanced aesthetic that does not belong to one gender, one room, or one kind of host.
That idea became Moira Mahjong—a brand built around clear playability, quiet confidence, considered materials, and objects people are proud to bring back to the table.

A material can have more than one chapter. In our tea-fiber Mahjong tiles, recycled tea waste and plant fibers become part of a new material story—one created for the table rather than discarded after a single use.
Visible tea leaf fragments, tea stems, and natural variation remain within the tile body. They are not printed decoration. They are honest traces of what the material was and what it has become. No two textures are exactly alike.
